@PUTDOWN is a campaign that was created during my second year of university. It is an anti-knife crime initiative campaign that leverages and uses social media to engage young people and encourage them to put down knives. The campaign aim is to resonate with youth, using social media platforms they would often use, such as Instagram and TikTok, to deliver their message widely. With the rise of knife crime and the community feeling of a lack of help, this is a possible avenue that could be explored in a different way from the traditional methods.

Above is a custom made, three dimensional promotional video that was produced for the module. This shows multiple different avenues of design and media, such as audio editing, three dimensional modelling, video editing and even some script writing skills that happened prior to it's creation. The basis of the video is focused on this empty hospital bed, with harrowing stories being projected over it, adding to the dark and gritty mood that it attempts to bring across to the audience. This feeling is important to the video's success, as it resonates with the viewer and allows them to feel the horrors that come of carrying knives around and the damage that it can cause to families over the country.
